Achievement
Jamie Tridico is the owner of Advanced Physical Therapy in Charleston WV. Jamie obtained her degrees from Wheeling Jesuit University, West Virginia University, and Chatham University. Jamie has worked in various clinical settings throughout her career including, St. Francis Hospital, CAMC General, and Teays Physical Therapy with per diem work in nursing homes, home health and hospice care. She finds the physical therapy profession an amazingly rewarding career and is continually looking to provide ways to grow professionally and give back to the community.
Jamie is currently the vice president elect of the American Physical Therapy Association West Virginia. She has served on several boards for various organizations in the Charleston area. In searching for ways to help improve the quality of life with people with Parkinson’s disease, she was able to bring the Delay the Disease exercise program to Charleston in 2013 and the Rock Steady Boxing program in 2016. These classes have made significant improvements in the lives of those with Parkinson’s disease. Jamie is adjunct faculty at Marshall University. Jamie assisted Child Law services to develop the Girls on the Run program for girls in grades 3-8 to inspire confidence, learn important life skills and understand the importance of physical and emotional health.
Advanced Physical Therapy has been voted Best Physical Therapy in the Valley for the last 8 years, a testament to the care and dedication of its employees. Building community relationships is important to Jamie and is evident through the many sponsorships, student affiliations for PT/PTA schools and volunteer opportunities. Jamie enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling and hanging with family and friends.
